Sing is king (or Singh Is Kinng) is shattering records at cinemas in all over Mumbai city. On its very first day, that is Friday it has collected a whopping 1.13 crore nett on its first day. To put things in perspective, super hits like Chak De, Welcome, Om Shanti Om were also not able to collect this much revenue from a single day from Mumbai.
The movie has taken an amazing opening throughout India. From West Bengal to Gujrat, from CP Berer to East Punjab. It was kind of expected as people thronged into the ticket counter as soon the advanced booking opened.
My personal experience in theatres in Andheri is good. In Sun City it is running packed. So is Gaiety, however 24 Karat in Jogeshwari is not showing HOUSEFUL board.
