Lunar Crash Landing: Shoot the Moon
It was supposed to be an early morning celestial show, however while NASA declared its pre-dawn attack on the Moon a success Friday morning it didn't exactly thrill stargazers hoping for a big impact.
The impact couldn't be seen all that well, even by NASA's telescopes, and there were few signs of plumes or anything that star gazers were hoping for. More from KLXY
